District Will Hold Meetings with Focus on Attendance Boundaries

The Colton Joint Unified School District needs input regarding proposed changes to its current attendance boundaries for Bloomington, Grand Terrace and Colton high schools. The district plans three upcoming community meetings where staff will present an overview of several possible scenarios, answer questions and gather input. The district encourages parents to attend one of the following meetings: • Monday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. at Colton Middle School • Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. at Joe Baca Middle School • Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Grand Terrace High School Library Parents can attend any of the meetings regardless of what part of the district they live in or which school their students attend.
