CJUSD Seeks Donations of New Jackets

COLTON>> With the weather turning cooler, the Colton Joint Unified School District is seeking donations of new jackets to be given to students in need for the district’s 6th Annual Holiday Jacket Drive & Giveaway. Donations of new jackets sizes 5 children’s (small) to 3XL adult are being accepted now through December 2 at the CJUSD Hermosa Center, 325 Hermosa Avenue. Donations will be accepted from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Larger-size hoodie style jackets are especially needed for teen students. “During the season of giving, this is a wonderful way to support our less fortunate students,” said Patricia Carrasco, Enrollment Specialist/District Homeless Liaison. “Donations from our community make a huge impact on the lives of our students.” For more information about the jacket drive, please contact the CJUSD Student Services Department at (909)580-6580.
