Description: New Faculty Orientation is a half-day event led by the Office of Academic Affairs Office and is designed to introduce you to SOM and provide you with critical information on teaching, research and other opportunities at UCR SOM. You will meet your new colleagues, hear from a number of current SOM faculty and staff members and have the opportunity to ask questions. The orientation is also a great opportunity to meet key faculty leaders and administrators, tour our teaching facility and to obtain useful information about benefits and a range of resources available at UCR SOM.
