Local author, historian, and community advocate of Colton, Dr. G (Dr. Luis S González) has been working in the city of Colton for many years and volunteers his time around the community in various ways.
He recently became involved with 15 Veterans who served during WWII and lived in Colton. Dr. G spent time researching and writing down their stories in the book, “Veterans of World War II, Living in Colton 2014”. There were fifteen WWII Veterans who were living in Colton in 2014 and the book includes photos and military background.
Dr. G’s passion for writing the book came from his need to honor the individuals who served in WWII and to create a historical legacy for the residents and visitors of Colton.
