Colton Police arrested two men late Saturday night who are charged with robbing a liquor store.
Colton officers responded at approximately 11:33 p.m. to a call of a robbery at the House of Booze liquor store at 150 East Valley Boulevard.
The suspects, 25-year-old Arthur Sotelo, of Colton, and 23-year-old Donald Pena, of Grand Terrace, allegedly entered the store and took alcohol without paying for it. When confronted by a store clerk, they threatened the clerk and ran from the location, according to a release issued by the Colton Police Department.
Police located the suspects about a block away from the liquor store and took them into custody.
Both suspects are jailed at West Valley Detention center with a bail of $100,000 each, according to booking records.
Jail records also show that Sotelo and Pena are charged with robbery. Sotelo also has an additional charge of carrying a concealed knife.
