Patients who visit Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) for a mammogram during Breast Cancer Awareness Month will receive a gift through a donation from Arrowhead Credit Union. Headquartered in the Inland Empire with 116,000 members and more than 250 employees, Arrowhead Credit Union donated hundreds of items on Oct. 10, including pocket planners with wellness tips, pink pens, flashlights, and bracelets with inspirational messages. “We are so grateful that Arrowhead Credit Union reached out to us with this donation,” said ARMC Volunteer Coordinator, Pat Redinger, who helped to arrange the donation ceremony held in ARMC’s Department of Medical Imaging. Arrowhead Credit Union recently donated 175 jade plants to help beautify the hospital’s campus. “Every year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month we try to give our patients a small gift,” said Christina Summers, lead mammography technologist in ARMC’s Department of Medical Imaging. “We are able to help our patients feel more at ease when they come in for a procedure because of generous donors like Arrowhead Credit Union.”
