In 2019, members of the Sheriff’s Department designed the puzzle piece arrowhead patch for autism awareness. In March 2020, the $10 patches were sold to department members and the public. Later that year, due to demand from the community for additional autism items, lapel pins and challenge coins were designed and sold. Since 2020, the department has donated $18,000 to the Autism Society Inland Empire. We are thankful to those who purchased merchandise and are proud to support non-profit organizations that positively impact the community. The department will be selling autism items at the following patrol stations:
April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Rancho Cucamonga Station, 10510 Civic Center Dr.
April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Sheriff’s Headquarters, 655 E. Third Street in San Bernardino
April 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Yucaipa Station, 34144 Yucaipa Boulevard
