Colton Community Services' family fun series ended last night with the long awaited Traveling Homeboys. This was a makeup concert from Sunday, Aug. 3, which the rain washed out.
The crowd danced the night away and reported what a "fun-tastic time" they had this year with all of the bands, intermission entertainment, vendors and DJ.
Over 3,500 people attended the series, many from out of town, and raised over $1,000 for the Colton Parks and Recreation Foundation youth scholarship program.
Way to go Colton!
"It never ceases to amaze me the great community support and welcoming atmosphere that the residents bring with them," said Recreational Coordinator Kelly Phelps.
Don’t forget to join the community on Friday, Sept. 26, 5 p.m. for another concert with a movie in recognition of National Literacy Month, hosted by Colton Community Services and Colton Joint Unified School District.
