Upcoming Blood Drive at Colton Public Library

Residents are invited to give blood and attend an outdoor screening of the 2013 film “Oz the Great and Powerful” at the Colton Public Library.

On Friday, Oct. 18, the public is invited to give blood as the Colton Public Library hosts the Great Blood Drive. From 3 to 9 p.m. that evening, the LifeStream Blood Bank will be on site taking blood donations. During this time, information booths, raffles and a teen snack bar will be provided. Around 8 p.m. that evening, there will be a screening of the 2013 film “Oz the Great and Powerful” outside. The event is free of charge and is open to the public. Blood donors must be at least 15 years old (those under 16 must have a signed parental consent form) and weigh at least 110 pounds.
