The skies over Redlands Municipal Airport were not just filled with planes this past Sunday, October 26th they were overflowing with Halloween spirit! The annual "Plane or Treat" event soared to spectacular heights, proving once again why it has become a cherished, must-attend family tradition in the community.

From 3 PM to 6 PM, the Redlands Municipal Airport (1755 Sessums Drive) was completely transformed into a vibrant, costumed wonderland. It was an absolutely packed event, with families flocking to the free festivities. True to form, the generous spirit of Redlands shone brightly; just like in previous years, the massive turnout meant the candy was completely depleted! But even as the treat bags went light, the joy and enthusiasm remained sky-high.

Every single plane on the runway was dressed to impress, participating in the unique trick-or-treating experience. Stepping onto the tarmac felt like entering a truly festive aviation gallery, with aircraft decked out in creative, spooky, and fun Halloween decorations. From costumed pilots handing out goodies to beautifully themed aircraft displays, the detail was astonishing. The community, too, rose to the occasion, with everyone kids and adults alike showing off their incredible holiday costumes.

The "Plane or Treat" spectacle offered more than just runway trick-or-treating. Guests enjoyed bouncing their energy out in the lively bounce house and exploring the array of creatively decorated planes up close. Delicious food vendors kept the crowd energized, adding to the bustling, carnival-like atmosphere.

Once again, the Redlands Municipal Airport did not let the community down! Thank you, Redlands Municipal, for providing such a spectacular and truly unique display of Halloween spirit and for showcasing the beauty of aviation. The success of this year's event has already set the bar high, and the community is eagerly looking forward to another completely packed, fun, and festive Plane or Treat next year!
