The ARMC Foundation is set to host the upcoming the 17th Annual Ed Hirschman Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Foundation Golf Classic on Monday, April 13, at the Redlands Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the purchase of new medical equipment at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Registration and the practice range will open at 8:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The Golf Classic features a four-person scramble format; box lunch and beverages for each player; and a dinner reception, live auction and raffle following the tournament at 3 p.m. The Golf Classic is the ARMC Foundation’s largest single annual fundraiser. Funds from the tournament help to support hospital programs, community outreach, and purchases such as Dialysis Unit equipment and a Mobile Medical Clinic. For more information, call the ARMC Foundation, Patty Holohan, at 909-580-3135. The physicians of ARMC formed the non-profit foundation in 1977 with the goal to o more to cure the sick and poor of San Bernardino County by augmenting the financial resources of the Medical Center with private donations. The funds generated by Foundation events such as the Golf Classic result in benefits for the Medical Center and the hundreds of thousands of patients it serves.
