Through Saturday December 21st, the Colton Fire Department will be presenting the “Parade of Lights." Candy canes will be distributed to the children throughout the city, by Santa and Fire department personnel. Residents in the City should be aware that the use of emergency sirens will announce the parade in each neighborhood. Due to the size of the City, the parade has been broken into five separate nights. Here are the remaining dates in the schedule: December 18th - Northwest end (Valley -- Mill, and Teresa -- 8th Street) December 19th – La Loma Hills and South Colton December 20th – Cooley Ranch area December 21st – Reche Canyon area PLEASE NOTE – IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE DOWN ONE WAY STREETS AND CUL-DE-SACS. WALK CAREFULLY WITH YOUR CHILDREN TO THE NEAREST INTERSECTION (CORNER) TO SEE SANTA AND RECEIVE A CANDY CANE.
