The Colton Community Services Department is pleased to announce the date for the much anticipated Senior Luau at the Hutton Community Center in Colton. On Saturday, Aug. 23, seniors will have a chance to wear their favorite Hawaiian clothing as they hula on into the Senior Luau. This community event is an excellent opportunity for seniors to come together to eat, dance and mingle. The Senior Luau will include live music, lunch and good times. Participants will be presented with a festive lei to wear as they enter a tropical paradise hidden within the Hutton Community Center. Luau attendees will also be treated to lunch and a live band. Please purchase your tickets early to ensure entrance into the dance. Senior events are open to all 50+ seniors who have a current registration form on file at the Hutton or Luque Community Center. Those who need to register may do so in person at the Hutton Community Center or the Luque Community Center. Registration forms are also conveniently accessible online at Daily 50+ Program. Get your tickets early so you’re not left out! Tickets will be available the Friday before the dance. The price for members is $10 and $15 for non-members. The Senior Luau will be held at the Hutton Community Center located at 660 Colton Avenue, Colton 92324. The doors will open at 12:45 p.m. The dance runs from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, please call the Hutton Community Center at (909) 370-6168.
