COLTON >> Acupuncturist Edward Romo recently celebrated his second successful low cost acupuncture clinic in Colton July 9 with a larger crowd than before. “We had more people than I anticipated,” he said. “It went well.” Romo, 10-year Redlands resident, held his first clinic in Colton April 27 because he wanted to extend his practice to more people at a lower cost. “(It is) treatment done in a group setting at an affordable cost,” Romo said. Acupuncture helps by stimulating the root of the pain. With the additional use of natural remedies, the body begins its natural process of self-healing and the pain is relieved, with the added bonus of no negative effects from medication. Romo’s next acupuncture clinic will be held July 16 at Redlands Holistic Health Center, 826 Brookside Ave. Suite G from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. His goal is to start holding one every other week, alternating between Colton and Redlands. “Each one is a learning experience,” he said. “This time, I wasn’t so nervous because it wasn’t my first one.
