KICKS Advanced Training Centers is saying thank you to their community. In line with its offering of various programs designed to help kids and families improve in all aspects of life, KICKS is offering a free Focus for Better Grades seminar this month. The program, amongst the others KICKS offers, aims to provide students the opportunity to develop confidence, self-esteem, focus, discipline, coordination and many other skills they need to succeed. The upcoming free seminar takes place on Saturday, Aug. 22. "We want the kids to succeed in everything that they do," said Master Jeff of KICKS. "Our goals are for the kids to understand that they can always do better than they think they can. We want to inspire them to realize that no matter how they have performed in the past they can absolutely achieve great success at school, at home and everywhere else they go." The Focus for Better Grades seminar will arm the kids with skills and abilities to allow them to perform to the best of their ability, he added. It is designed for kids of all ages and ability levels to improve not only at school, but at home. Master Jeff stated, "Our programs have proven to increase students' performance by one full letter grade and we want to share even just a small amount of that success with our community. The kids deserve the opportunity to do their best and we want to empower them to do just that." Master Jeff explained the seminar is also going to make family life better, healthier, and happier because "as performance at school improves it reduces the stress of home life and allows for more enjoyable family time." The seminar will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 at KICKS Advanced Training Centers, 2097 E. Washington St., Ste 1F in Colton.
