Major Injury Traffic Accident

Time of Incident: 1830 PM

Location of Incident: 1000 Block of N LaCadena

Victim (s): 10 YOA

Suspect:

DR Number: CPD case # 17-03866

Summary:

On the above date and time officers responded to a major injury traffic collision at the above listed location. Upon arrival it was found that the vehicle left the roadway and struck a 10 year old child. The child sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The vehicle came to rest inside of a residence causing major structural damage. At this time speed is believed to be a factor, other causes are also being investigated by the Colton Police Department MAIT team. At this time the investigation is still ongoing.
