Community Acupuncture Day

All community members are invited to the very first Community Acupuncture Day, a natural healthcare option at an affordable price. The Colton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the upcoming event and Licensed Acupuncturist Edward Romo will be hosting the event on Wednesday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. “When people think of acupuncture, they think of one on one,” he said. "However, that type of treatment can be extremely expensive. The event’s purpose is to introduce this new and affordable way to receive treatment," Romo said. The payment is completely determined by the patient; therefore, all community members will be in control of how much they pay and the treatment they receive. “It’s called a sliding scale,” he explained. "The patient decides from the minimum of $25 to the maximum of only $40." This event marks the first time that this holistic healthcare option will be available in the City of Colton. Community Acupuncture Day hopes to bring residents together so everyone can get a little taste of this natural self-healing process at a price they choose to pay. According to Romo, most one-on-one acupuncture appointments can range from sixty, eighty, to over one-hundred dollars. This group dynamic allows treatment to be affordable for those who are unable to pay for the one-on-one treatment. “It’s very popular in China and San Francisco,” he explained. Romo is the only Acupuncturist in the Inland Empire to offer this affordable, group setting acupuncture. Although a ten-year Redlands resident, Romo plans to open an office in Colton in the future. “The experience I’ve had in Colton is just wow,” he shared. “Very positive people and just an uplifting experience.” Executive Director of Colton Chamber of Commerce Chetay Catalono shared the excitement of bringing Romo's specialty to the City of Colton. The event will be held at the Colton Chamber of Commerce, 655 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA. Call to make a reservation: (909) 264-0185. Cash only.
