Fire Danger isn’t the only concern in California; the extreme heat is bringing out Rattlesnakes and causing major issues. Residents are finding them in their homes, yards and gardens and calling 911 for help. Snake bites are up 100 percent from last year - what can we safely do to keep these unwanted snakes from our homes and our yards? A local Company, Nature-Cide, offers these safety tips when you encounter a snake and how you can keep your property, kids and pets safe! 1. If you see a rattlesnake – Don’t try to pick it up; don’t try to scare it off; and don’t try to move it. Don’t even think about getting close to take a photo. Remove yourself and your family from the situation. 2. Use an all-natural snake deterrent that won’t be dangerous if your pets or children ingest it. 3. Don’t call 911 if you only see a snake – this takes up valuable time for the EMS companies. Call a Snake Removal company if you want to remove the snake from your property and consider an alternative to poison program. 4. Do call 911 if bit by a Rattlesnake – it is imperative to get treatment immediately 5. Watch your pet for signs of distress including bruising and swelling. Would you like to schedule a call to speak to Matthew Mills, President and CEO of Nature-Cide, about these tips and how their product is safe for families, children and pets and how it keep snakes off your property? Nature-Cide, a local Los Angeles company, has a complete new line of products that are safe and free of poisons and chemicals that coincides with California’s new laws and regulations – they also offer monthly maintenance. Nature-Cide can also remove snakes from your property with its on-site service and prevent them from coming back with their innovative poison alternative program.
