Festivities Held for Library Week

The Colton Public Library will be celebrating National Library Week, April 11 through 18, with various events throughout the week. Monday, April 13 is Library Appreciation day, offering special giveaways to library visitors and a children’s drop-in craft from 4 to 5 p.m. On Wednesday, April 15 at 6 p.m., Chef Alonso will be returning with a healthy cooking workshop. Book 2 Movie Night will be on Friday, April 17. Starting at 3 p.m., there will be community information booths and at dusk the film “Big Hero 6” will be shown outdoors. The Friends of the Colton Public Library will be having their annual book sale on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds go directly to support library programs and resources. All events will take place at the Main Library, 656 North 9th Street, and are open to all ages with no charge. For questions, please call 909-370-5083 during regular Main Library business hours.
