SAN BERNARDINO >> Congressman Pete Aguilar received the endorsements of the San Bernardino County Safety Employees' Benefits Association (SEBA), Colton Police Officers Association (POA), and Redlands POA. "Pete Aguilar has always been a reliable partner in our efforts to reduce crime and keep residents safe. Our members are proud to stand behind such a dedicated advocate for San Bernardino County's law enforcement community," said SEBA president Laren Leichliter. SEBA represents more than 3,100 public safety officers in San Bernardino County, including deputy sheriffs serving as the primary source of law enforcement for the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Grand Terrace, and Loma Linda, and all unincorporated areas of the County. The organization also represents district attorney investigators, coroner investigators, welfare fraud investigators, probation corrections officers, and specialized fire services across San Bernardino County. "The Redlands Police Officers Association is pleased to endorse Pete Aguilar. From his time as Mayor to his work in Congress, Congressman Aguilar has always supported our officers and recognizes the work we do in keeping our streets and neighborhoods safe," said Redlands POA president Patrick Leivas. Commenting on the endorsements, Congressman Aguilar said, "I'm grateful to have the support of the men and women who patrol our streets to keep us safe. As a parent raising a family in the Inland Empire, the safety of our neighborhoods is a priority and I'm committed to making sure local law enforcement has the tools and resources they need to successfully do their jobs."
