Mega Pet Adoption Event Returns June 10 and 11

ALL >>  More than 200 dogs and cats will be available for adoption at the annual Mega Pet Adoption event at Yucaipa 

Community Park on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday June 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Animal shelters and rescue groups from throughout the county will have cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds available for adoption at the two day event. 

Yucaipa Animal Hospital will provide low-cost vaccinations and microchipping on both days. 

On-site licensing will be available for residents of Yucaipa and the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. The event will also feature pet-themed merchandise.

“We are honored to partner for the sixth year in a row with San Bernardino County Animal Care and Control, the Animals aRe First Fund, and the Yucaipa Animal Placement Society for the Homeward Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event,” said Jill A. Henderson, Director of Fund Development & Community Outreach for the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley. “This is such an important event for our community; helping pets find their forever homes.”

“For the past six years, we have partnered with a number of agencies dedicated to finding loving homes for animals in need of adoption,” said Brian Cronin, division chief of Animal Care and Control. “We look forward to continuing our tradition of finding homes for hundreds of animals at this year’s event.”
