REDLANDS >> Ben Cook’s Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has grown by leaps and bounds since opening in Redlands in 2008, and this year’s Hangar 24 AirFest & 8th Anniversary Celebration aims to bring over 15,000 people to the Redlands Airport on Saturday, May 14th. But Ben and his brother, Chris Cook, owner of California-based CHC Consulting, aim to do much more than that. “Since day one, AirFest has been a charity event. 100% of the proceeds go back to local charities, driving the good work they do in our community. This year, my brother and I wanted to do even more,” said Hangar 24 owner, Ben Cook. Ben and Chris Cook have partnered to make a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities, one of Southern California’s most well respected charitable organizations. After touring the construction site earlier this year and learning how vital the Ronald McDonald House is to families and what an asset their services are to our community, Hangar 24 Charities and CHC Consulting made a $50,000 commitment to support the expansion project. Funds raised at the Hangar 24 Annual AirFest will go towards the Cook family’s commitment to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House expansion project as well as other local charities and local and national veterans organizations. “When my brother Chris and I are watching the Patriot Jet Team fly overhead at AirFest, pint in hand, it’s going to feel even better knowing that every dollar made that day is going to good causes..” said Hangar 24 owner, Ben Cook “Ben and I have always wanted to team up and do some good in the world and I envision that this the first of many opportunities for us both.”, said Chris Cook, CEO CHC Consulting. About Hangar 24 Charities: Hangar 24 Charities is a registered 501c3 that runs a number of large charity events each year, the largest of which is the Hangar 24 AirFest in May. These events bring together the community built by Hangar 24 Brewery for a common cause: to raise money to do good in our local community.
