Nominations Being Taken for Colton Sports Hall of Fame

Nominations are currently being accepted for 2014 induction into the Colton Sports Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was dedicated in 2006, and is located at the Frank A. Gonzales Community Center. It is a shrine honoring Colton sports heroes, past and present, and includes such names as Ken Hubbs, Camilo Carreon, and Savas Robledo. Nominations for 2014 inductees will be accepted until Oct. 1. Nomination criteria and forms are available from the Colton Community Services Department, located at the Gonzales Center, 670 Colton Avenue. The Recreation & Parks Commission will consider nominations and will make selections for formal induction in early 2014.
