Hostess of The Mardi Gras Senior Dance, Recreation Specialist Janay Sintclair checked in eager seniors from Hutton Community Center in the city of Colton. The seniors were dancing to the tunes of the band, Latin Flavor. Sitting next to her godparents, Gloria Bustos who has been a resident of Colton her whole life was enjoying the fun with her family and friends. Resident Rudy Cordero, who had been patiently awaiting the arrival of his dancing partner, glided over to the dance floor upon her arrival. Maria Castillo said, "The music and the atmosphere is a great way to forget about the wet weather outside." For resident Connie Villalpando, it was a great way to spend her Saturday afternoon with her close friend and neighbor Marie Castillo. The afternoon went well into the night for dancing partners Shirley Pappengo and Rey Familar, as Rosie Perez stated, "I'm not ready to go home yet."
