ALL>> Fairies will be flying during the Garden and Floral Arrangers Guild annual Fairy Garden Festival and “Enchanted Garden” Flower Show on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Historic Kendall Place 120 E. Palm Ave. Redlands.CA, 92373.

The Fairy Gardens are creative, water-wise small gardens that can be tucked away in small spaces or even in hidden areas where they can await discovery. For more than a century, people from 3 to 103 have been enjoying the creativity and fun Fairy Gardens. In 1893, the Fairy Garden concept first debuted in the United States at the Chicago World’s Fair.  Soon these miniature gardens became all the rage.  Their popularity continued through the Victorian era, into the mid-century and now thrives today as these miniature gardens have moved into gardens, homes, apartments and even onto porches, decks, balconies and patios worldwide.

All are invited to this annual event. Residents will tour the “Enchanted Garden NGC Small Standard Flower Show filled with remarkable horticultural specimens, beautiful floral designs and fantastic Fairy Gardens, join the Fairy God Mother's Parade, and listen to ‘Never Ending’ Fairy Tales.

The event will also feature vendors, talented Artisans, experienced Plant growers plus Opportunity Drawings and Silent Auctions.  Residents will also learn to create small floral arrangements and more at the seminars, investigate Ladybugs, and receive the opportunity to be a part of the Ladybug Release.

There will also be an opportunity to make both tiny and gigantic bubbles at the Bubble Bonanza.

A special 'Create Your Own’ Fairy Garden Hands-on Workshop will also be offered. Space is limited (Registration and $15 Supply Fee Required). Please call 909 794-6293 or 951 285-8775 for reservations and information.

There is no charge to enter an exhibit in the Show and entries are welcome. Show Schedules are available on-line at: www/CaliforniaGardenClubs.com/GardenFloralArrangersGuild,  the A. K.
