On Tuesday, April 4, Best Western Hotel & Resorts held a grand re-opening for the Best Western Plus Arrowhead hotel, located in Colton, California. The newly renovated hotel received a full interior and exterior renovation. Guests who stay are offered a complimentary breakfast, heated pool, 24-hour fitness center, and more. Each Best Western room comes equipped with a 40" flat screen T.V., as well as free Wi-fi, a microwave and a mini fridge. Rates start at $79 per night. Manny De Guzman, vice president of hotel operations, said "We are thrilled to be a part of the Best Western Plus brand, as it is well known and respected for its high standards and commitment to quality customer service." Best Western Hotels & Resorts have been offering all who come to stay with them a "home away from home" for 70 years. A private brand, the hotel brand carries over 4,000 hotels in places all over the U.S. and even places as far as Seoul, South Korea and Vientiane. “As the Brand Development Project Manager working with this property from the beginning of their renovations,” said Verena Zurcher, Brand Development Project Manager. “I could not be more impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through from all the staff and management involved. I am certain this Culture of Caring will impress all guests bringing the property great success. Welcome to the Best Western Family!" Recently, the company unveiled two new brands: Vīb & Glō. Vib, which stands for vibrant, has been described as "chic" and "hip". New locations have recently opened in Chicago. Projects in Miami, Los Angeles, and more are soon to be announced. Glō lives up to it's name, by providing travelers with a LED lighting that gives the building the appearance of glowing. At night, the hotel appears almost as a beacon of light. Best Western Hotels & Resorts have been recognized many times for their numerous services. In 2014, Business Travel News Chain named the hotel the Number One Mid-scale Hotel. Since 2008, AAA has named the brand, partner of the year. Best Western's loyalty program was voted in the Top Three Best Hotel Loyalty Program by U.S. News & World Report and J.D. Power & Associates.
