Colton Channels its Inner Force

COLTON>> Thursday May 4, marks the 7th anniversary of Star Wars day. 

Since 2011, fans have organized conerts, festivals and conventions in celebration of the famed movie franchise.

This year, Colton will join in the fun by inviting local residents to celebrate Star Wars day. 

The celebration will take place on Thursday, May 4, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m, at the the Luque Branch Library, located at  294 E O Street. 

Hosted by the Community Services Department, fans will celebrate Star Wars with a Dress to Impress costume contest for all ages, live entertainment, games and more.

The event will precede Free Comic Book Day, which is set to take place on Saturday, May 6. So, for more Star Wars fun, visit your local comic book store.
