Blood Drive Welcomes Donors

Not all our friends, neighbors and colleagues will spend time around the family table this weekend. To assist local hospital patients and bring comfort to their loved ones, LifeStream blood bank urges local residents to donate blood at a LifeStream donor center or mobile drive. Blood donors on Friday, April 14 at any LifeStream donor center receive a $10 Amazon gift card; donors at any LifeStream mobile drive receive a $10 Panera Bread gift card. Blood donors on Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Victoria Gardens Cultural Center, Rancho Cucamonga, receive a $15 Victoria Gardens gift card and a pair of passes to the West Coast Historical Militaria Collectors Show next month at Fairplex, Pomona. On Easter Sunday, April 16, blood donors at LifeStream’s San Bernardino Donor Center (open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) receive a $10 Amazon gift card; donors at select mobile drives receive a $10 Panera Bread gift card. LifeStream said all promotional items are limited to available supply. Walk-ins are welcome at all sites; for an appointment and locations of mobile drives, call 800-879-4484 or visit LStream.org. Donors must be at least 15 years of age and those 18 and under require a signed parental consent form; forms are available at all drives. Donors should feel well, must weigh at least 110 pounds, should not skip meals and should increase their fluid intake in the 24 hours prior to donating. Photo ID is required. LifeStream is a local, nonprofit blood center that provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals.
