On August 7, the Colton Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon to show their appreciation for all the volunteers' hard work and time spent working the firework booth.

Every year the Chamber runs a firework fundraiser to help with expenses and sponsorships throughout the year. The coordinator schedules dates and times cordially to the history of sales. All volunteers come out and spend a couple of hours every day, sometimes all day, to help run the stand.

To show the volunteers how much the Chamber appreciates them a luncheon was hosted in their honor and the coordinator speak on each one of them as they were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation. The luncheon had food, soda, water, and desserts and was aimed to network and laugh.

"Thank you for your tireless efforts, your unwavering support, and your dedication to this year's 2023 firework booth. All your hard work and commitment are truly appreciated," said Chamber of Commerce Coordinator, Christina Gaitan.

Volunteering opportunities are available, please reach out to Christina Gaitan at 909-699-3326 or 909-825-2222, or email christina@coltonchamber.org.
