Colton Community Invited to Participate in A.P.P.L.E. Golf Tournament

COLTON >> Registration is now underway for the Colton Joint Unified School District’s 11th annual A.P.P.L.E. Golf Tournament, to be held Saturday, April 2 at the Shandin Hills Golf Club in San Bernardino. Proceeds from the tournament support the A.P.P.L.E. Scholarship Foundation. Sign-in is at 7 a.m. with Tee-Off at 8 a.m. A luncheon will be served beginning at 12:30 p.m. Cost to participate as a golfer is $80 per person, or $300 per foursome. This price includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and lunch. Raffle tickets and mulligans will be available for purchase. Prizes will be awarded for hole-in-one; longest drive; and closest to the pin. Sponsorship opportunities also are still available. Donations are tax deductible. The A.P.P.L.E. Golf Tournament is the largest fundraiser for the A.P.P.L.E. Scholarship Foundation. Since its inception in 2005, the tournament has raised more than $123,000 for scholarships benefitting local youth affiliated with the Colton Joint Unified School District.
