Central Collections Office Relocation Aligns with County Goals

San Bernardino County Auditor-Controller, Treasurer, and Tax Collector Larry Walker announces that as of Nov. 2, the Central Collections Division of his department will be moving their office to a new location at 268 West Hospitality Lane, second floor, just under four miles away from their current location. The office’s main public phone, 909-387-8303, will remain the same. Mr. Walker stated, “This move underscores our commitment to taxpayers, and is consistent with the county’s goals to improve county government operations and operate in a fiscally-responsible and business-like manner.” The relocation will improve county government operational efficiency by co-locating services from multiple locations throughout San Bernardino, and provide improved public access and management oversight for the necessary services provided by the Auditor-Controller, Treasurer, and Tax Collector’s Office. This move is the second phase of a three-phase departmental consolidation project. The first phase included the move of the Treasurer and Tax Collector Divisions, and the third and final phase will include the move of the Auditor, Controller, and Disbursements Divisions. Customers can expect a seamless transition with no interruption to service while the moves take place.
