COLTON>>> When 12-year-old Aubree Archibeck heard about her close friend dealing with a bully at school she said she knew that she needed to do something to help. Archibeck said her goal is to encourage all children to love and accept each other no matter what color, background or disability they may have. "My friend was very hurt by the mean words that were constantly said to her," Archibeck said. "She became so depressed that she even considered suicide." Archibeck and some of her friends have put together an assembly called the, "Be the Change Tour." Archibeck and her friends communicate this powerful message through their gift of song and dance. Recently, they brought their music and message to Cooley Ranch Elementary in Colton. "We sang and we danced with the kids and we shared a message of love and friendship," she said. "We also told them that they have value, they are special and they are on this earth for a purpose." The "Be the Change Tour" is making a difference in the lives of children and they are touching the world one school at a time. For more information on the "Be the Change Tour," or to book a tour date at your school, contact Gina Walden at Ginawalden@msn.com.
