Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) hosted their most anticipated event of the year on Saturday, April 22nd. Their annual Million Meals Gala: Run for the Roses, presented by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. Thanks to the tremendous support of our community, volunteers, and supporters, raising just over $100,000, creating up to 700,000 meals for those facing food insecurities in the Inland Empire.

The Derby theme was a hit. Many guests who attended the event sported their best spring outfits and big hats, making the derby atmosphere come alive. The food bank looked stunning with all its decorations, including a prop horse and jockeys for photo ops. Maddilicious Catering delighted everyone with a gourmet dinner.

Special recognitions were made to Ministerio Juda as our Community Partner of the Year, Sabiduria Latina as our Media Partner of the Year, Galleria at Tyler as our Corporate Partner of the Year, and Hope Lutheran as our President’s Choice Award.

They had an entertaining DJ and live auction. Emcee and DJ Allan Cason kept the music going all night. Auctioneer, Chuck Dukas, energized everyone and helped with crowd participation.
