As the November 5, 2024, General Election approaches, the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters is committed to informing registered voters in San Bernardino County about how, when, and where to vote.

The four secure ways that voters can cast their ballot include: voting by mail by returning a voted mail ballot via the U.S. Postal Service; returning a voted mail ballot to one of over 70 secure drop-off locations throughout the county; taking a voted mail ballot to one of our five early vote sites; or visiting a polling place on November 5 to cast a ballot in person.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5. Voters are encouraged to vote before Election Day as polling places may have significant lines.

“The Registrar of Voters office is gearing up for Election Day on November 5,” said Stephenie Shea, San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters. "We want our county’s voters to be well informed on what they need to know to cast a ballot. We offer resources on our website and social media channels to share the information and get the word out!”

Voters can easily access important information on the comprehensive FAQ page on Elections.SBCounty.gov. The FAQ page includes key election dates, information on voter data, security and integrity measures, news on our election technology and the schedule for reporting elections results.

For more information about the election process or opportunities to serve, visit www.Elections.SBCounty.gov. Remember, it’s “Your Ballot. Vote Early. All Ways Secure.”

A residence shows visible damage from flooding, mud and debris following severe winter storms that began Dec. 23, which brought heavy rain and debris flows to mountain and high desert communities across San Bernardino County. This week, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors approved recovery-related fee waivers to help eligible property owners repair and rebuild as response and long-term recovery efforts continue.

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
