A new neighborhood barbershop is preparing to make its debut in Loma Linda, and the community is invited to take part in the celebration.

Upmost Barbershop will host its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 18, welcoming residents to an afternoon filled with music, food, and community spirit. Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m., with the official ribbon cutting scheduled for 4 p.m.

The opening day celebration is designed to be both festive and family-friendly. The first 10 guests will receive free haircuts, and visitors can enjoy drinks, giveaways, and live music throughout the event. Face painting will be provided by @sittingpreddyartistry (Instagram), while snacks and food will be offered by @lacenasb (Instagram), giving attendees a chance to enjoy a variety of local talent and small businesses all in one place.

Guests will also find plenty of opportunities to capture the moment, with photo backdrops available for cool photos during the celebration.

Located on Barton Road, Upmost Barbershop aims to bring a blend of modern style and classic barbershop tradition to the community. The new shop is opening with the support of the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce, highlighting the city’s continued effort to welcome and encourage new small businesses.

Grand openings like this represent more than just the start of a new storefront—they reflect the growth and vitality of the local business community. By attending events like ribbon cuttings, residents help entrepreneurs build momentum while strengthening the sense of connection that makes neighborhoods thrive.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet the team behind Upmost Barbershop, and help celebrate the newest addition to the city’s growing small business landscape. Whether coming for the music, the food, or the chance at one of the first free haircuts, the grand opening promises to be a lively event and a great opportunity to support a new local business!
