Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Coat Brussels Sprouts: Pour the garlic Parmesan mixture over the Brussels sprouts and toss until the sprouts are well coated.

  5. Roast in the Oven: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

  7. Enjoy: Serve these delicious Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts alongside your favorite Sunday roast or other main dishes. They make a flavorful and nutritious addition to any meal.
