With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Big Nick Martinez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Nick passed away surrounded by his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Nick was the luckiest man, always Mr. Popular, Mr. All American, the great athlete, straight teeth, tall, good-looking, and smart. He had it all. If you were fortunate enough to watch Nick play baseball or basketball, you would know he was fantastic on the baseball feld and on the basketball court. His 3 brothers and 1 sister had a front-row seat and enjoyed watching their big brother excel at sports. Always the dominant presence among family and friends, Nick was a force to be reckoned with. I never saw anyone hit a ball farther or play sports with more passion. He was also an avid fan of the Dodgers! Colton! And Stater Bros.! Nick was a great provider for the family he loved. He and his wife, Bea, were together for over 47 years. She was the best thing that ever happened to him along with his twins. He was so proud of his children, Nick and Veronica, and super proud of his grandchildren, Ecio, Teyo, and Archie. He expressed that love for them every time he spoke. He is probably doing it right now. His friends share great memories of their buddy, Nick, remembering the celebrations, BBQ's, and holidays that were shared together when neighbors became family; so many laughs, never a dull moment when they got together. We will treasure these memories forever in our hearts. Family and friends will surely miss Nick and his smile, but his legacy will live on in all of us. Nick, you will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts. Nick is survived by his wife, Bea, twins Nick Jr. and Veronica, daughter-in-law Jackie and son-in-law Joe, grandchildren Ecio, Teyo, and Archie, brothers Edmond, Michael, and Tommy, and sister, Lorna. Mass will be held on Friday, August 23rd @ 11am at Christ the Redeemer Church in Grand Terrace, Ca. Eternal peace be with you. Goodbye. —
