With pleasant weather and extended daylight hours, many Redlands residents are taking advantage of local trails and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the region.

Popular activities include hiking, walking, cycling, birdwatching, and family nature outings. Outdoor enthusiasts say the area's accessibility to open spaces makes it easy for residents to stay active while enjoying natural surroundings.

Local recreation advocates encourage visitors to remain hydrated, wear sunscreen, and follow trail safety guidelines during summer excursions.

"There are so many beautiful places within minutes of Redlands," said local resident Michael Reyes. "It's one of the things that makes living here special."
