A new neighborhood staple has officially opened its doors in Loma Linda—and it made quite the entrance.

Upmost Barbershop celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 18, drawing residents for an afternoon filled with music, food, and community connection. The event kicked off at 3:30 p.m., with the official ribbon cutting at 4 p.m., marking the barbershop’s arrival in the city’s growing small business scene.

From the start, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Guests enjoyed live music, refreshments, and giveaways, while families took part in face painting and snapped photos at themed backdrops set up for the occasion. The first 10 customers were treated to free haircuts—a highlight that added to the excitement and drew early crowds.

The event also showcased local talent and small businesses, with contributions from community vendors adding to the festive feel and reinforcing the spirit of collaboration that defines the area.

Located on Barton Road, the new barbershop blends modern style with classic barbershop tradition, offering a fresh space for residents to gather, connect, and look their best. With support from the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce, the opening reflects the city’s continued commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs.

More than just a ribbon cutting, the celebration highlighted what makes a community thrive—neighbors showing up, supporting small businesses, and welcoming new ventures with enthusiasm.

With its doors now open, Upmost Barbershop is poised to become a go-to spot in Loma Linda, carrying forward the energy of a grand opening that brought the community together in style.
