Description: Nighttime train testing will occur on Tuesday, February 22, in San Bernardino and Wednesday, February 23, in Redlands. Daytime testing will begin on Friday, February 25, and will continue until service starts. The Metrolink trains being tested will vary, you can expect to see a locomotive with up to six cars at one time. There will be intermittent flashing red traffic signals from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at local grade crossings.Roadway and pedestrian gates are also being tested at the rail crossings weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through March. Intermittent daytime (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) lane closures will occur at all local grade crossings between E Street and Church Street. Through travel/two-way travel will remain at all times at each location.
