$1000 Scholarship Up For Grabs For Miss Colton Pageant Winner!

How would you like to earn a $250 to $1000 and represent your City at the same time?  Be a part of history in the making, it’s been 25 years since Colton has had a Miss Colton Pageant and now Colton Rotary along with Debbie Jenkins formerly with the Colton Chamber of Commerce, and Erlinda Armendariz,Pageant Director are reintroducing a modernized version of Miss Colton – more in line with the empowering of young women in the community. The contest is open to young women who are ages 17 – 25 years of age and reside in the City of Colton or Unincorporated Colton.  

This allows you the opportunity to network with local businesses, service organizations, government officials which could help jumpstart your career – relationships in business is key to success!

Each contestant will learn and experience public speaking, and interview training. Everything they will need to know to compete in this program will be taught to them prior to the pageant. We will be crowning Miss Colton, and two princesses, along with several other awards, Miss Congeniality, The people’s choice, and Miss Photogenic.

There is no cost to the contestant, entry fees are paid by the local Business Sponsors.  If you would like to Sponsor a young women for the Pageant, the cost is $250, please contact Rosa Granado-Dominguez, President of Colton Rotary at 909-422-1000 at her Inland Valley Insurance 

Miss Colton is a Community Service Based pageant so throughout the Queen and Courts Reign, they will showcase local businesses,  and organizations by participating in the community at Ground Breakings, Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, Parades and other special events all year long.

The Miss Colton Pageant is being held, Sunday May 19, 2019 at the Whitmere Auditorium on the Colton High School Campus, 777 West Valley Blvd in Colton starting at 1:30pm.  Tickets can be purchased from any of the contestants, through Colton Rotary or find more information on www.facebook.com/MissColtonPageant.
