If you have ever rented a car for that long anticipated family vacation, a fun road trip with friends, or that spin in your dream convertible, chances are you rented from Avis.  Avis Car Rental operates one of the world’s best-known car rental brands and has a long history of innovation in the car rental industry. Recently, Avis announced the opening of several car sales locations across several states through its Avis Car Sales program. They have chosen the hustling bustling community of Colton to expand their new and exciting program. “We are excited to be in Colton, our first location in the Southwestern United States. We look forward to all the activity and growth that Colton is experiencing and being a part of that,” says John Valdez, the Southwest Regional Car Sales Manager of for Avis Budget.

The large selection of newer, low-mileage vehicles which are competitively priced, are perfect for savvy car buyers. All vehicles are Avis Certified — meaning they have passed a rigorous multi-point, bumper-to-bumper inspection process completed by certified mechanics, including ASE-Certified and ASE Master Technicians.

“Trust is one of the most important factors for consumers buying a pre-owned vehicle,” said Gregg Nierenberg, senior vice president of fleet services, Avis Budget Group (CAR). “Our vehicles not only pass through rigorous mechanical and safety tests, but they are backed by the trusted reputation of the Avis brand, so consumers can buy with confidence.”

Avis now offers a direct-to-consumer model for individuals and families looking to purchase their former rental cars. The majority of Avis’ vehicles are rotated out of the rental fleet while they are still under the original manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, every vehicle is backed by a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty and is available for purchase via the Avis Car Sales Colton location. Additional selling points include:

Lifetime Service Records: Avis is the original owner of each vehicle and has complete maintenance records for its vehicles and will provide them to potential buyers.

Certified Pre-owned: All Avis Car Sales vehicles receive factory scheduled maintenance, including regular washes, which often times is more frequent than average car owner care.

No Open Recalls: Avis Car Sales does not offer any vehicle with an open recall or safety campaign.

Accident-Free History: Since vehicles have had no prior owner, we’ve chosen not to sell any vehicle that has been in an accident. Potential buyers are provided with a vehicle history report.

On hand, to welcome the Avis team was Mayor Frank Navarro, a host of Colton dignitaries and chamber members, as well as the newly crowned Miss Colton Alexandria (Lexie) Trujillo. Mayor Navarro extended a warm welcome and prosperity on behalf of the citizens of the city. “May your business prosper for many years to come,” exclaimed Navarro.
