Colton's Annual Installation & Awards Luncheon

On Wednesday, October 12th, the Colton Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Installation & Awards Luncheon where the people of the city came together to welcome new chamber officers and award individuals who have exceeded in their profession.

The luncheon ceremony took place at Pinnacle Peak Restaurant where people gathered to share a meal and commemorate these individuals. 

The new officers for the Colton Chamber of Commerce are:

-          Brian Chilstrom was reelected for his third term as President and is the Campus Director of West Coast Ultrasound Institute.

-          Shelley Burbach for Vice-President, and representative of Premier Medical Transportation.

-          Arnise DeJohnette for Treasurer, and Director of Contracts, Planning, and MIS for the Center for Employment Training.

-          Nelky Rodriguez for Secretary, and Apprenticeship Development Liason of Center for Employment Training.

-          Frank Aguilar as Board Member, and Vice-President of AMKO Recycling.

The Colton Chamber of Commerce has awarded Anthony Barron Police Officer of the Year and Joey Almendarez as Firefighter of the Year. This honor is only bestowed on those that excel in their profession. Both will be featured in next week’s issue of the Colton City News.
