Colton City Councilman Isaac Suchil announced this week his decision to withdraw his name for consideration in the upcoming race for Mayor. Faced with recent family life changes, and the imminent need to focus his efforts on his loved ones, has prompted his decision.

Surrounded by his wife Regina and family from his home in Colton, Councilman Suchil stated, "I am grateful for the support of many residents, businesses and fellow community leaders in my initial consideration to run for Mayor. However, at this critical junction, I will re-focus and center attention on the needs of my family, which is my ultimate obligation to provide and care for my loved ones."'

"I am deeply committed to my hometown of Colton. The leadership I provide as Councilman will not be undeterred with this personal decision to withdraw my name from the candidacy for Mayor. I enjoy my responsibilities as Councilman and the unique skill set I bring to District 6 in leveraging more services to business and residents within the community," said Councilman Suchil.
