Frontier Communities celebrated the official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration of their newest development, Wildrose, Colton on May 16, 2018. The event gave everyone in Colton and the surrounding areas a glimpse of what this newly opened residential community has to offer. With over 50 guests in attendance, City of Colton Mayor Richard A. De La Rosa, Council member David J. Toro, Council member Ernest R. Cisneros, Neli Gutierrez of the Colton Chamber Red Carpet Committee, Mark Hicks, Division President of Frontier Communities, Tony Fiorello, Vice President of Frontier Sales and Marketing, and John Reichel of Sunwest Development were a few of the attendees who shared their excitement about the opening of the first Frontier Community in the city of Colton. The 110-home community, built by Ontario based Frontier Communities, is located at 2024 Juniper Way in Colton, California, off Riverside Avenue and W. San Bernardino Bl.

"This is a home product for millennials, families, professionals or empty nesters, but also for those of us who have a zest for luxurious home appointments, well-designed floor plans, and open spaces to connect with others." Frontier Division President Mark Hicks shared during the ribbon cutting ceremony. "We've done some very unique things here that you don't see featured in the rest of the new homes offered in the $300k to $400k price point. We want to show home buyers in this price range something different and unique. I encourage anyone interested in becoming a home buyer to come have a look at what we’re doing here."

According to John Reichel of Sunwest Development, "We're excited to bring this caliber of development to Colton. This is the first of its kind in Colton and we think Wildrose is going to be one of the fastest selling communities around, not only for Frontier Communities, but for the City of Colton as well."

Guests in attendance were able to tour the community’s 4 professionally decorated model homes, view the site of the future pool and recreation area, as well as enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
