On September 12, 2021 the Rotary Club of Colton held the Little Miss Colton Pageant, crowning 3 of Colton’s finest as Toddler, Little and Jr Miss Colton.  On Hand to crown the new queens of Miss Colton 2019 - Lexie Trujillo and Little Miss Colton 1978 – Frances Marie Urrea.

The City of Colton is still partially shut down so these young ladies were crowned with as much pageantry as the city allowed to have in the moment. After one and a half years the city of Colton allowed the Rotary Club to bring back the Miss Colton Pageant.  To kick everything off, the Rotary Club decided to host a Little Miss Colton pageant to get everyone excited again.  Three little girls were crowned surrounded by their family members on Sunday September 12th at Flemming Park. Crowned as Toddler Miss Colton was three-year-old Hazelee Meza, the daughter of Gabe and Brittanie Meza. Little Miss Colton was six-year-old Aria Padilla, the daughter of Gabriel and Eileen Padilla. As Junior Miss Colton, seven-year-old Jessa Martinez, the daughter of Ruben Martinez and Venessa Ramirez.  These three little queens will represent the city for the next year and will participate in parades and other kid-oriented events in the city.

Giving up her title as Little Miss Colton 1978 was Frances Marie Urrea, who was 5 years old when she was crowned with the title.  She is now the mother of 10 children and was celebrating her birthday that day.  To help her crown her successor was Miss Colton 2019 – Lexie Trujillo.  Due to the pandemic and the cancelation f the 2020 and 2021 pageants, Lexie has continued with the title to the present time and will be crowning the New Miss Colton in May 2022.  Miss Trujillo is currently attending Cal State San Bernardino majoring in Political Science.

Applications to participate in the Teen Colton and Miss Colton pageant will be available starting November 1, 2021.  If you are between the ages of 15-25 send us a text message at 951-833-3306 or contact us through our Facebook page “Miss Colton Pageant” by sending us a message.  More information will follow in the weeks to come.

Little Miss Colton Queens along with Miss Colton Lexie Trujillo will be participating in the Colton Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 29 at 5 p.m.  They will also be present at the Colton Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 4 at 6:00pm
