What’s better than community, being a part of a community and supporting your community, the place that you call home? In times of a storm or unforeseen circumstance, we all must rely on each other for help and support.
An easy way to give back to your community is to shop local and support our small businesses. We here at your local City News have developed a fun and exciting program that gets you, the community, back to your favorite local businesses and allows your local businesses to give back to you in return.
Local businesses all over the Inland Empire are participating in the CNG, Inc. sweepstakes opportunity drawing and are giving away free weekly prizes. Community members can submit entries every day by clicking on every ad with the sweepstakes “Bag of Money” icon on the City News Group website to win even more weekly prizes and for the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000 on December 3rd, just in time for Christmas.
Michael Siano and William Yahn are our sixth week’s winners of the City News Group, Inc. $1,000 sweepstakes opportunity drawing. As the sixth week winners of the weekly prize giveaway, Siano and Yahn have both won a free gift card to Domino’s.
Siano and Yahn earned a free meal from Domino’s by submitting an online entry form on the City News Group website. At absolutely no purchase necessary, Siano and Yahn come up with the big win of our sith week’s prize as well as an opportunity to win the grand prize on December third of $1,000!
Siano, one of our winners, was born in the Bronx, New York and in 2007, decided to move to the Golden State and has been a resident of Redlands since September 2018.
“I’m Italian and I love pizza, so this is great,” Siano said. “I’ll put it to good use.”
Siano works as a local truck driver and like many, has been doing all that he can to get through it and taking the recent pandemic a little bit at a time. Waiting for this time to pass, Siano still tries to do the things he loves to do, like going for hikes, swimming, watching baseball and movies.
“Even though we have to wear a mask, I’m going to live my life the way I want to live,” Siano said.
Yahn, our second winner, a resident of Colton, has been a long-time supporter of City News Group (CNG) and has even participated and won in previous CNG giveaways.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of schools, Yahn worked as a crossing guard for Longfellow Elementary School in Riverside and loves working there because, “they have some good kids there,” Yahn said.
In his free time Yahn enjoys bowling in the two bowling leagues that he is a part of and is happy that he won a free gift especially from Domino’s.
“It’s fantastic, I mostly go to Domino’s because they don’t charge me for double cheese, everywhere else they do, but not Domino’s,” Yahn said.
Domino’s is currently offering a Mix and Match deal, you can choose any 2 or more items at $5.99 each, a weeklong carryout deal for all pizzas, including 3 toppings for $7.99 each and a perfect combo deal for family dinner that includes 2 medium 1-topping pizzas, 16-piece parmesan bread bites, 8-piece cinnamon twists and a 2 liter of Coke for only $19.99.
