David Toro has started a new venture for another way for him to help Veterans, Pets, and People in the City of Colton. Toro is now Mr. Appliance of Colton, serving Colton, Grand Terrace, Loma Linda, Moreno Valley, and just recently awarded parts of Fontana and Riverside. Gene Knutson is the Mr. Appliance technician. Knutson has over 30 years of experience dealing in many aspects of residential and commercial appliances. Toro hopes that the new business will allow him to give back more to the community by sponsoring veterans, low income families, and spay and neuter pet services.

Toro is known for the love and the round-the-clock care he gave to his mother during her last several years, never leaving her side in her final days in January, 2019. “My inspiration was always my Mom,” Toro said. “Growing up, she always gave more than she had, opened her home to family and friends in need and did what she could to help people and pets, while still providing for her family.”

“With the support of my wife Kerri,” said Toro, “I work hard to follow the values my mom instilled in me.”

Toro ran successfully for Colton City Council in 2006 and still serves today.

Mr. Appliance of Colton is locally owned and operated.
