Although these uncertain times may not be over yet, we as a community can still do all that we can to pull together, support one another, and still find ways to have fun and enjoy life, while staying safe.

Ramon Salas is this week’s winner of the City News Group, Inc. $1,000 sweepstakes opportunity drawing. As this week’s winner of the weekly prize giveaway, Salas has won a dinner for two from Family Homestyle Café.

“It feels great to win and I will be able to share it with my family,” Salas said.

Although he has won a weekly prize, he is still in the running for his chance to win $1,000 on December 3rd and you can win too!

Salas, a resident of Colton, is an assistant funeral director for Preciado Funeral Home. In his free time, Salas enjoys fishing, camping and going to 66er’s baseball games. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Salas has been unable to partake in some of his favorite things.

“It has affected my life by not being able to visit my family and friends. Also, by not being able to go to community events,” Salas said.

Salas will be able to receive something new and exciting with the taste of home, when he receives his free meal for two at Family Homestyle Café.
