Sun, surf and classic American meals- Woody’s Classic Grill is a place where you and the whole family can check off the boxes of your summer checklist. Woody’s Classic Grill is also giving away free gift cards to lucky winners of the City News Group Sweepstakes.
This week’s winner, Terrence Moore, resident of Grand Terrace was excited to learn that he had won a free $30 gift card to one of his son’s favorite local restaurants and can’t wait to receive their free meal.
Moore learned that he could win $1,000 and gifts from local businesses while on social media and decided to give it a try, “I entered because I just wanted to try something new.” Moore is a warehouse safety supervisor and in his free time he loves to spend time with his family and play billiards.
Woody's Classic Grill is a California Surf themed 50's & 60's full service restaurant that serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Even though it may not be on a beachfront, Woody’s definitely brings the beach to Grand Terrace.
Woody’s Classic Grill was the first local business to giveaway a prize as a participator in the City News Group, Inc. Sweepstakes program, a program created to inform the community that their local businesses are still open.
From the restaurant’s inception, Miller emphasized that “we build our business one guest at a time” and in return it creates a strong foundation for their business. “If we can get one guest to come in and they love our food, our service, like the value of our food, then they’ll go out and tell people.”
Woody’s can be compared to a modern day Cheers, because any guest that goes to Woody’s will be greeted with a smile and fully enjoy the friendliness of the employees and eventually everyone will know your name.
This week’s winner Terrence Moore won a free meal from Woody’s by finding a Woody’s ad on City News Group’s website with a Bag of Money icon, clicking on it, and submitting an entry to win with no purchase necessary. By submitting an entry to win a free meal from Woody’s, he is also entered to win the grand prize of $1,000 on December 3, 2020.
We look up to and are proud of our local businesses, like Woody’s for keeping their doors open and for continuing to serve the community. As a member of the community, we thank everyone who has continued to support their local businesses. How have you had to adapt? City News welcomes residents and local businesses to share their stories with us and let us know how you have adapted and accommodated throughout this pandemic.
“This program is awesome because it rewards not only the people coming to the website, it rewards the businesses, “Miller said. “It’s a win-win situation for everybody.”
A community should support each other and we hope this is a way to bring everyone together again. For more information please visit CityNewsGroup.com
